Fatal collision – Oxfordshire

A motorcyclist has died after a single vehicle collision on the A41, near Wendlebury, Oxfordshire in the early hours of Sunday, June 21.

The 42-year-old was riding a blue Yamaha motorbike along the A41 from Bicester towards Junction 9 of the M40 at around 12.45am. As he the junction the motorbike has left the road and collided with a roadside barrier. The rider was declared dead at the scene.

PC Dave Rose, who is investigating the collision, has appealed for witnesses to the accident to contact him. He said:

“I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
